Who Will Be an Ideal Tutor?
An ideal candidate will have the following qualities. Come join us if you're the person we're looking for!
College student, graduate student or new grad from a Top university in the U.S.
Native English Speaker. Independent, creative, adaptive and punctual
Tutoring experience preferred but not required. Some familiarity with Chinese is a plus

Becoming a tutor?
At BoldABC, we kindly ask you to reflect on your learning experience from your high school classes and apply the reading, classroom discussion and writing practice to your online tutoring lessons.
You will teach your student English and guide the student in reading classic English literature.
Who are my students?
You will teach 10-18 year old Chinese students who have already studied English for a few years and wish to come to study in the U.S. in the future.
Your students may have different interests and goals. They may be outgoing and talkative or quiet and shy, but they will all be very excited to improve their English with your help.
How does it work?
Each tutoring class is an hour in length, and is conducted as a one-on-one private lesson over video chat. It will be a rewarding process to see your students progress over time with your help! We will provide training materials, guidelines and teaching resources to help you excel.
Paid internship in China?
We partner with middle schools and high schools in some of the most beautiful and historic cities in China, such as Hangzhou and Chengdu, to offer a fully sponsored, paid summer/winter internship to teach in local middle schools and research on the education system/situations in China. We welcome any tutors at BoldABC to apply for this internship during summer/winter vacations or in their gap years.
